Due to the nature of the New Hampshire Retirement System and its membership, employers are often required to send sensitive information to NHRS on behalf of members or retirees. Guarding the confidentiality of this information is of the utmost importance to NHRS.

As a reminder, NHRS uses Zix email encryption to send secure emails. We ask that employers also use this technology, or something comparable, when sending personal member information. If you do not already have a Zix account, you can create one for free using the portal at the bottom of www.nhrs.org (see below).
