CONCORD, NH – Fiscal Year 2024 Member Annual Statements for all New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS, the retirement system) members who are not yet retired have been posted to My Account, the retirement system’s secure online portal.

The annual statement provides personal data about member accounts including service, wage, contribution, and beneficiary information. An FAQ and informational graphic explaining how to read the statement, and describing the NHRS benefit provisions, is also available on the retirement system website here: https://www.nhrs.org/members/plan-details/member-statements

You may notice that your statement will look different than previous years and no longer includes a projected benefit for vested members. Members who would like to run their own estimate can do so on My Account.

If you haven’t set up a My Account yet, now is a good time to do so. Don’t worry, signing up is easy. Visit the retirement system’s website at https://www.nhrs.org/my-account for step-by-step instructions.

When you view your statement, check that all your personal information is correct.

Key areas to review on your statement are:

  • Make sure that the person that is listed on the statement as your beneficiary is correct. Your Beneficiary information can be updated at any time before retirement. Check and, if needed, update your beneficiary information after any major life change, i.e. marriage, children, divorce. If the person listed as your beneficiary is not correct, complete a new Designation of Death Beneficiary(ies)(Pre-Retirement form and submit it to NHRS.
  • Your birthdate and other personal information, such as your address and contact information. Members should contact their employer to update this information.
  • Your service credit, which is a key variable in determining your retirement benefit.

Members with questions about the information contained in their statements may contact NHRS by email at statementhelp@nhrs.org, or by phone at (603) 410-3500 (Press 1).
