Log in to My Account to confirm your designated beneficiary(ies) and make changes, if needed.

If you die while in service your designated beneficiary may be eligible to receive a death benefit. Death benefits vary depending on the vested status of the member and whether the death was job-related or not.

Regardless of whether or not your beneficiary is eligible for a death benefit, your beneficiary will always receive a refund of your accumulated contributions plus credited interest.

Remember, you can change your beneficiary information at any time through My Account or by submitting a notarized beneficiary form to NHRS.
